International student advisors provide support to international students with questions related to pre-arrival, arrival and other immigration related inquiries during your journey at Ontario Tech.

How to book an appointment
  1. Visit the Student Life Portal.
  2. Log in (first-time users: username is your student ID and password is your birthday in MMDDYY format).
  3. Select the Book an Appointment option on the left.
  4. Select International Student Support.

Note: If you are a newly admitted student you can only book an appointment once you have registered for classes. You can email us at iss@ontariotechu.ca to book an appointment with us. 

Drop-in sessions

Attend in-person or virtual drop-in hours. The drop-in hours are limited to 15 minutes per student.

International student advising drop-in hours (no appointment needed but you may have to wait while the other student is assisted.)

In-person - SIR 1123

  • Mondays from 9 to 10 a.m. & Tuesdays from 10 to 11 a.m. 

Virtual - Google Meet

  • Wednesdays from 1 to 2 p.m. & Thursdays from 2 to 3 p.m.

Exchange and Visiting Scholars

The international mobility team provides support for all inbound and outbound exchanges and visiting scholars.

To book an appointment with the International Mobility Officer, please email one of the following addresses depending on your  inquiry. In your email please include your name, Ontario Tech student number (if applicable) and availability.
