Reason for becoming an ISL: I chose to become an ISL because I can understand how tough it may be to move across to a whole new country away from your family and friends. Throughout this difficult journey I wanted to be someone who could support international students and help them feel at home during their time at Ontario Tech.

Reason for becoming an ISL: I became an international student leader because I'm passionate about fostering a welcoming and supportive environment for students from diverse backgrounds. As an international student myself, I understand the challenges and opportunities that come with studying in a new country. Additionally, I saw it as an opportunity to develop my leadership skills, make a positive impact on campus culture, and contribute to the broader goal of promoting diversity and inclusion on campus.

Reason for becoming an ISL: I took on the role of International Student Leader because I wanted to work with amazing leaders who share my passion of helping international students transition into campus life with ease, and embrace Ontario Tech University as their home away from home.

Reason for becoming an ISL: I have seen many people, including my own parents, go through the struggle of being students from another country, although they counted as domestic students since they had been living in Canada for so long. So, I want to help people become accustomed to this culture while helping them bring their culture to diversify Canada.
