International Student Leaders (ISLs) collaborate with the International Student Advising team to host events and provide opportunities for international students to connect and create a sense of community.

Reason for becoming an ISL:
To help out all the incoming international students, because when I was a first year student, the ISL students were really helpful and very welcoming and I want to do the same thing for other incoming students.

Reason for becoming an ISL: I want to support new international students, help them feel welcomed, and share the same guidance I appreciated when I was new.

Fun fact: Very Outgoing, Love to travel!
Reason for becoming an ISL: As an international student, I struggled with making friends, adapting to the weather, and handling daily life alone—from groceries to homesickness. I became an ISL to help others through these challenges and show them that it’s possible to build connections, enjoy new cities, explore diverse cultures, and truly make the most of life in a new country.
