Fees for incoming exchange students

 

As an exchange student, you must pay the following fees to Ontario Tech each term you are here:

  • University Health Insurance Plan (UHIP)
  • U-Pass for local transportation

Current costs are on the ancillary fees page. You are recommended to pay your fees before or upon arrival. Make sure to factor in the time it takes to process your payment so you do not miss the payment deadline.

  • How much do I owe?

    Follow these steps to find out how much you owe for UHIP and U-Pass:

    1. Visit MyOntarioTech.
    2. Log in using your username (your nine-digit student ID number) and password (your date of birth in MMDDYY format).
    3. Select Current Students.
    4. Select Important Information.
    5. Select Account Summary under the Paying your fees section. Refer to the Payment Option link in this section for information on paying your fees.
  • How can I pay my fees?

    You may choose any of the accepted payment options to pay your fees.  Popular options among exchange students are:

    • Using PayMyTuition or Flywire to pay using your home financial system.
    • Paying by TouchNet PayPath through MyOntarioTech.
  • What about residence fees?
    If you choose to live on campus, you will pay residence fees directly to the on-campus residence. Please contact residence for more information.
