Pre-departure Sessions
University policy states that all Ontario Tech students travelling outside of Canada for university activities, must register their travel with the university prior to departure. This includes exchanges, internships, university competitions, conducting research, and conference travel.
All students going on international mobility programs (exchange, internship, research, conference, etc.) are required to attend a pre-departure session before they leave. The session covers important information on health, safety, culture and everything you need to think about when planning your trip. We will also talk about the forms and documents that you need to submit.
