University policy states that all travel outside of Canada for university-related activities must be registered ahead of travel. This includes student exchanges, internships, research-related activities, university competitions, conference travel. Candidates who successfully secure a mobility funding opportunity, must notify Ontario Tech University of their travel.

Call from the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) to attend the Space and Sustainability Summer School 2026 under their Announcement of Opportunity (AO) to support Canadian Student Participation in Space Conferences and Training Events and more (Appendix A).
Eligibility criteria:
- be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident;
- be enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution at the college, undergraduate, master's or doctoral levels at the time of the event.
All applications must be from individuals, applications received from student teams will be rejected.
Priority may be given to applicants from underrepresented populations. The CSA therefore encourages applicants to indicate, on a voluntary basis, if they belong to one or more of the four following groups: women, Indigenous Peoples, persons with disabilities and members of visible minorities.
Please note that students who have received an ESA Academy scholarship to attend this event are not eligible for a CSA grant.

The Naveen Jindal Young Global Research Fellowship is a fully supported international research program designed for early-career and emerging scholars, researchers, and academicians who wish to engage in interdisciplinary research, collaborate with global peers, and receive mentorship from distinguished faculty members at JGU.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must hold an postgraduate degree or be in the advanced stages of their doctoral research.

Domestic, graduate or undergraduate students are invited to apply for a grant to participate in an exchange with one of UArctic’s north2north member institutions for the upcoming 2026-27 academic year!
Study or work on research topics related to the Arctic, Indigenous communities, or the Northern Circumpolar region.

Canada-China Scholars' Exchange Program
Call for Applications: 2026 Canada-China Scholars’ Exchange Program
Offered by Global Affairs Canada and China’s Ministry of Education, the Canada-China Scholars’ Exchange Program (CCSEP) aims to foster deeper mutual understanding, build strong academic and professional ties between Canada and China, and develop future Canadian leaders with expertise and experience in China. CCSEP alumni are part of a distinguished network of professionals who have gone on to build impactful careers in academia, public service, business, and other fields that contribute meaningfully to Canada-China engagement.
The program provides an excellent opportunity to learn Chinese, and/or pursue post-secondary studies or research at leading institutions across China.
Candidates must be Canadian citizens to participate in the outbound component of the program.

Last year, the program introduced new components to expand eligibility and create new opportunities for participants:
- Longer stays for graduate students: Graduate students can now stay in China for up to 24 months with the option to obtain a graduate degree from designated learning institutions in China.
- Shorter stays for professionals: The minimum stay requirement for faculty, researchers, and mid-career professionals has been reduced from two months to one month, offering greater flexibility for those seeking short-term professional development opportunities.

The Cadieux-Léger Fellowship - Research Affiliate Program
- Issued by: Global Affairs Canada
- Candidates: Doctoral students who are Canadian citizens, permanent residents of Canada, or foreign citizens residing in and eligible to work in Canada.
- Duration and amount: The fellowship spans up to 12 months with a maximum commitment of 25 hours per week. Successful applicants receive a bursary, capped at $48,000 based on the duration of their position.
